->> Here is my 2 cents:
Argentina look very very strong, England wont win cause they are crap and their football is boring hahaha, I hope Brazil dont win! I am hoping that the UnderDog will win - GO UKRAINE!!!
I am probably wrong and it will be a Argentina/Brazil Final.
PS. How Mad was that Port/Holland game - 14 Cards!!!! That Ref was a shocker!

they are the underdogs and they have the most heart and passion in the cup thus far!! they have a chance to shock the world!!!
but what do i know.
i was rooting for the U.S.!!! |

->> I would love to see Argentina and Brazil in the final, if it's not that, I think it's going to be Germany vs. Brazil again.
Brazil is very powerful even though they haven't had to play any difficult games, and Germany has home-field advantage.
I believe the Holland vs. Portugal game had 16 cards, 12 yellow's and 4 red's. |

Haha, oh well, just a try. I'm leaving for Hamburg in two days, and would just love to see Germany finish them off. All I hope for is Brazil to be knocked out. Unfortunately, Fred is too nice for most ballers out there -- he just can't be stopped.
I think the Germany - Argentina game shall not be missed for the life of any soccer fan, guaranteed to be a couple stunning' corkers. On the German side, Miroslav Klose will score, and be one of the most influential and important players of the game, no doubt
I won't miss it! |

->> If England can get their act together, I think they've got a decent chance. They've made it through to the quarters playing to about 50% of their ability.
I really think the winner of the Germany vs. Argentina quarterfinal match will go on to win it all. Brazil's defense looks a little leaky to me, if Ghana had some quality finishing that game would have been much closer. |

->> ENGLAND.....to play as badly as we have and still win through, our name is on it.... we have the fastest tempo of any nation, the premiership is the quickest league in the world and we now can turn on the pace.....although Zizou turned on the magic against Spain this evening and there is so many mouth watering ties....
Brazil v France (re-match of 98 final, when Ronaldo played even though he wasn't fit)
England v Portugal (re-match of Euro 2004 clash which went to penalties)
Germany v Argentina (re-match of some classic world cup finals)
Italy v Ukraine (one of the world's greatest strikers in Sheva' against the Italian defence he played against for 7 years week in week out)
My thoughts....... Quarter Finals - France will beat Brazil, England will beat Portugal, Argentina will beat Germany and Ukraine will beat Italy....then Semi-Finals - England will beat France, Argentina will beat Ukraine....Final - England v Argentina...(A re-match of epic proportions... Hand of God in 86, Beckham Red Card in 98...Beckham Pen in 02...) Then it's up to fate......
ENGLAND. |

->> A couple quick thoughts,
With the French win, my bracket is all screwed up. I had picked Spain to be the team to knock off Brazil, now it looks like Brazil will have a cake walk into the finals. Brazil will take its revenge on Les Bleus for its 3-0 embarrasment in '98 as France shows its age and quietly bows out.
England whose play has been mediocre at best, was handed a huge gift by the refs in the Portugal- Nederland's match. Without Deco & Costinha playing for Portugal, England should be able to pull it off.
Then facing a wide open Brazilian attack, England chokes in the heat and loses to Brazil finally finding its stride.
No offense to the Swedes, but Germany has not really been challenged thus far. Argentia, with a wake-up call from Mexico, will rebound and defeat the Germans.
Italy will handle the Ukraine if they can get an early score and then sit back and play defense. Unfortunatley I doubt the Azzurri can stand up to 90 minutes with 'Tina.
Argentina- Brazil in the final, 'Tina channels the spirit of Maradona and beat Brazil in a repeat of their qualifying match in Buenos Aires last year.
Italy plays England for the third place match and goes in to PK's for the decision. Beckham bends one off the pole and the Brits lose. |

->> Aaron - we have to we world class at something....although the Scots would be unbeatable if they had made the tournament..then they would have run out of beer and whisky....
South American teams don't win the world cup in Europe... (1958 in sweden was a 1 team event, sorry 1 player event) ok more Brazilian and Argentinan players now play in Europe, but France are starting to show there true potential...Brazil still haven't played a team that can defend well (France, England and Italy probably are the 3 best defences.) Argentina will reach the final, but England will win through....hopefully a Rooney hatrick of 'handgoals' against the Argies (not that were still bitter of course....) |

->> Wow
So goodnight Spain.
What a shocker.
This is out of the blue but I think Brazil has been
sandbagging. I think they are letting Renaldo look washed up
so they guard him less. I think Ronaldinho is also sandbagging
to get less coverage.
I think they are going to show all the secret weapons in the
semi final.
They missed 3 easy goals in the closing minutes vs Ghana, it should of been 6-0
I am not jumping on the bandwagon because they are the defending champs, or cause they are favored. I am choosing them because there woman are poor. They cant even afford much material in their bikini's
Also:
I see incredible ball control from this team and their radar
in passing is incredible. They play as a tight team, like a well oiled Brazilian machine.
I think the Semi final match will be
Canon=Brazil
Nikon=England
who is best?
Stay tuned July 1st when England plays Portugal and
Brazil takes on the Frogs

Remember Germany has been one of the most aggresive and just as important, Argentina will have 6000 fans and Germany 54000.

in the final.

| ->> My hope is for england. But the smart bet is Brazil. Ronaldo always seems to lead his team to a victory. Argentina is not likely to beat Germany because of their home turf. England can beat Portugal but for them to beat Brazil they would have to be ontop of their game. Italy might have the only chance to shut down Germany. But we shall see no one can really predict anything in this world cup. Look at what happened to Czech, number 2 didnt make it past the first round. |

Although they do need to get it together. They've got great talent on that team, but I haven't seen the strong gameplay like we've seen from Argentina, France, and Germany so far. Any team can beat anyone (with exception to the U.S....yeah, I had to go there), it just depends on when they come on and right now Germany is looking pretty darn good too, so that'll be the game to watch. |

A good match up to the end. But Germany with its home field

I still see Germany vs Brazil in the final,
after Brazil sends the Brits packing they will take

brazil still haven't faced a good team yet, so tonights game against the frogs could be a real test, ronaldinho who has the tag of 'the world's best player' hasn't done anything in the tournemant at all yet, gone compleatly missing in most games so far, the key for brazil is robinho he has been the pace and excitement for them so far...
england...well I'm keeping quiet until we've played portugal today...3rd time lucky to beat 'big phil'...then..
