I've created my webpage now what?
Robert Lyons, Photographer

->> I recently completed a webpage using Picasa and Simpleviewer. Now I need to know how to get that on the web. I would like it to be cheap and easy (I'm still talking about the site). I looked into registering on yahoo service plans but their cheap starter package seems to only be used with their site building tools. I'm not looking for any thing extraordinary just something to show people. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hosting plans start at $3.95 a month but I wouldn't go lower than the Deluxe plan.

->> I use powweb.com... don't have to think about it all year and then it sucks you for 90 bucks, but still better than a 10/mo plan. Plenty of bandwidth and space. There's my mini advertisement.

Goodluck finding what you need.

->> im a hostgator guy. its not just the price - its the service you get with them which is top notch. I never have to wait more then 30 mins to get a reply (so far).

They also have some very good instant add-ons including image database / gallery software, blogs etc. Very handy and i use them all the time.

if you want to sign up with them, use my referral ID and I will buy you a beer the next time you are in town :)

->> Once you get a host, you might want to look into some of these FTP programs if you haven't already. Smart FTP is what I use, and it simplifies the uploading process. Plus, you can download the free trial from download.com. The trial features are more than enough.
