->> 1) Very cool portrait!!!!
2) This is just my guess but I think he set it up with lighting on Camera Left from high 45ish and she had water cupp'd in her hands. When he said the "Magic" word she threw the water at the camera and he pressed the trigger. This is just my guess!

->> Thomas, I think she's standing in a pool, about chest deep, and flicking water at the camera again and again while photographer takes pictures. She's at edge of pool, with a wall behind her. Two lights: one to girls right, aiming down a bit, another blue gelled light, snooted, aiming at background....
I wrote Alex twice, never heard back from him... |

->> Hello everyone,
Thank you very much for the comments on the swimmer photo. Robert, I apologize for taking so long to respond. And thank you Peter for the Trade Secret nomination. I've had a few people ask how it was done, including the Sportsshooter admin who requested to have it as a Trade Secret segment as a result of those nominations.
So because of the article, I'm not sure how much I want to get into it now, but basically Thomas and Robert have it figured out except she's in a studio, not a pool.
Thanks everyone. There'll be more to come.
Sincerely,
Alex |
