->> Hey Jeff ... I'm trying to create the weekend from hell for myself by photographing Avon Lake tonight in Fremont, then heading to Detroit to meet some buddies in Greektown, then over the Ann Arbor for the OSU game and then back Saturday night for a high school game in Tiffin. My writer has a parking pass for Michigan and I could go in with him, but he will be there late writing and that would mean I would have to miss the high school game tomorrow night in Tiffin. So I'm trying to find out how realistic it is to get a decent parking spot at a pay lot Saturday morning at the Big House. .... oh ya .. then the Browns' game Sunday in Cleveland. I luv this job!!

->> David,

If you want to park somewhat close to the stadium I am pretty sure there is a pay lot/field at Ann Arbor Pioneer High School and the golf course, but it is a bit pricey, about $40 or so. Those are both south of the stadium, and the media entrance is at the north end of the stadium. The lots are big, so traffic is a pain in the neck when you leave.

There are a few parking structures you might be able to park at. The one on Hill Street near the corner of Tappan St. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the stadium. There is also one a block from my office. The structure is off of Forest Street and is only three blocks from the other structure mentioned above. The plus side to these two structures is that by the time you walk to them, you will have made up the time you would otherwise be sitting in traffic. I think you will be able to get by for less than $10 at either of these two lots, but having never been here before for the OSU-UM game I don't know if they will raise the price for the structure or not.

Unfortunately I don't think I am shooting the game so I won't see you on the sideline tomorrow. But I'll see you at the Browns on Sunday.

-Scott

->> David - it won't do you any good for this year, but in future years remember to contact the university athletic department and they will sell you a parking pass ($20 - $30 as I remember). It's well worth it, the media entrance is a very short walk from the lot. We usually make the request at the begining of the season and they mail the permit after they a check. Suba will be there for us.

good luck - Bob

->> David,

There is a place to transmit from in the press box, I'm pretty sure its a good connection, but my office is 15min walk from the stadium and we tranmit from there.

There is plenty of parking very close to the staduim on peoples lawns, and its usually 20-40$. You won't have a problem finding parking, but it will cost you.

If you have any other questions, feel free to contact me, my cell number is on my member page, I think I'm heading into town around 8:30. Also, if you wish I welcome you to work from my office. Parking at my lot is usually about $20, but I can get you a free spot if you call me and I can tell you where the lot is, you'll just say your working for me for the game and they'll let you in no problem.
