->> take a grayline double decker bus tour, and wait until you get Timothy "speed" Levitch to be your guide. He is as eccentric as the city, and will show it to you in undescribable fashion.

->> Go to MoMA, www.moma.org , it is fantastic. I also love the Metropolitian Museam of Art, www.metmuseum.org

Take the D or F train (subway) out to Coney Island, it's a lot of fun to watch the change in communities change as they go by. I love Coney Island in the fall/winter. While in Coney Island go to Nathan's and get a hot dog and some fries.

Monte's restaurant in the village for food. Great food at a reasonable price. The owner Giovanni will greet you personally.

For dinner go eat at the Ida Mae Kitchen and Lounge. It's 111 W. 38th, just a few blocks from where you'll be. Man, I love that place.

The Met is awesome, the ICP is awesome if they have a good show. When I was there it was a ton of photo stories from Life Magazine which blew my mind but it's kind of hit and miss there from what I have heard.
