D2Hs background focus problem?

->> I've had my D2Hs for several months and love the image quality. I shoot indoor and outdoor prep and youth sports. I am wondering now if my autofocus is not working properly. Many of my shots seem to have the focus on a background subject, usually within "proximity" of the main subject. My focus setting is center weighted and the mode priorities are "focus". When I am looking through the lens I can see that the AF locks immediately but when I view my images afterwards at least 50% have the focus locked onto something behind the subject in the center.
My primary sports lenses are 200-400 f/4, 200 f/2 and 85 f/1.4. All are AFS and the problem occurs with all lenses. I have a D2H backup body but I don't use it much any more so I'm not sure if the problem occurs with the D2H. But before I purchased my D2Hs I used my D2H bodies (I had two) for about a year and I didn't have such a high percentage of out-of focus shots.
It seems like the focus is either dead-on my subject, or dead-on some other subject that is not in the center.
Anyone else have this problem? |

| ->> I have had that problem with one of my D2H as well. I send them to Nikon, should have it back sometimes next week. Hopefully, they would be able to fix the problem. Will keep you update. |
