->> Nice job on your latest update Omar. This is a great example of the great images AND responsible journalism that I knew you were capable of. It's nice to see somebody your age who can bounce back and learn from your mistake. Yours will be a name to watch over the next few years. Good luck and keep up the quality journalism.--Brian Blanco

->> Hey everybody,

I would like to thank each and every one of you for your time and comments. It was a crazy night, but because of the car theft situation, I knew that I needed to keep shooting, but I got arrested. :(

We’re just some hours away from the greatest annual event of the century! I hope to see everybody having a blast tomorrow and Saturday in the golden state. :)

Your comments and concerns are always welcomed.

Adios,

Omar

->> Omar,

I applaud your tenacity, vision and creativity. I believe it took guts to post on SportsShooter.com after the last discussion(?) of your images. This site is a great resource to receive beneficial, honest and critical feedback by your soon to be fellow professionals. As we all know there are many lessons to be learned with or without your camera. Therefore, believe in yourself, treat your subjects with respect and stay true to the ethics you are learning at good old SFSU.

As an SFSU alumni I’m proud to know the program continues to cultivate ethical, creative, fearless and intelligent photographers.

Keep shooting photos that challenge the viewer.

Willie

P.S. I for one would have photographed that situation until every battery in my bag was dead!

Have fun at the luau. Give Sean Connelley a big kiss for me, won't you?
