| Image © 2009 D.M. Troutman || Dani Pedrosa leads Italian Valentino Rossi through the Corkscrew on the final lap of the USGP. Rossi nearly caught the Spanish Honda rider but settled for a second place finish and the Championship lead. "I didn't expect Dani to be so fast but he was very strong and there wasn't much I could do to go with him" Rossi said after the race. Pedrosa commented further, "Yes, it's been a long, tough year for me. Since last year here, when I couldn't race, it's been everything bad, and no results. So I'm happy to be back and win a race. But especially happy for my team. All this time I was injured, I couldn't ride well, they still keep on pushing, keep on working very hard at the maximum level, as if I could win races. So they also need this win. Honda had a long time also not winning, so that's good for them also." |

I'm a full-time professional photographer specializing in a photojounalistic approach to event photography, including corporate functions, weddings and special life events. My background includes managing Carmel Camera Center (a high-end digital imaging specialty store) for over thirteen years, extensive experience as a master custom color printer and over twenty-five years in the photo-imaging industry. Sports assignments have included motorsports, golf tournaments, track and field, marathons, rugby, equestrian events, gymnastics, surfing and mountain bike racing. I have freelanced for the Monterey County Herald, Carmel Pine Cone and the European Pressphoto Agency. I am the official photographer for Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, am a staff photographer for 65° Magazine and clients include Adventures Monterey Bay, Cycle World, Moto USA, Cycle News and RoadRacer X. My services are available for shooting feature stories, spot news, sports, corporate events, weddings, environmental portraits, real estate features, and other kinds of location work. A specialty is same-day publication of web galleries created from event coverage, as well as in-house custom printing services. Fine art prints of my landscape and wildlife images are available online through my website, at local art fairs and at Gallery Sur in downtown Carmel.
