OK. So the best-of-three series between Minnesota State and the University of Minnesota in the WCHA tournament actually was the best-of-four-and-two-thirds if you count all the overtimes! Two double-ovetime games and an overtime game made for a lot of hockey!
Fortunately, it was some of the best hockey I've seen in a VERY long time! The only downside was that Minnesota winning the series has me covering indoor high school track instead of the Final Five. Rats!
