Texas Water Safari is the "world's toughest canoe race." Teams from solos to 6-man canoes paddle the San Marcos and Guadalupe Rivers into San Antonio Bay to the finish at Seadrift, TX. Teams must carry their own food and only take on water and ice from team captains, receiving absolutely no help, little or no sleep for the 39 to 99 hours of paddling, mostly desolate areas. |
