Recent work: I spent the weekend in Holland, Michigan covering the Christopher Newport University women's volleyball team in the D3 NCAA championship tournament. They won their quarterfinal matchup against UMASS Boston, then fell in the semifinal to Calvin.

I'm a lifelong Virginian, originally from Fairfax County, currently residing in Newport News. I have interned for the CNU office of communications and public relations and frequently work with CNU athletics.
I have also interned at the Daily Press, a daily newspaper serving over 100,000 readers throughout the Hampton Roads area. While with the Daily Press, I covered a range of assignments, including general and spot news, sports action, portraiture, and features. I accept various freelance assignments across Virginia and the country.
Outside of photography, my passions lie in DC sports teams, despite their record of habitually disappointing me. One of these days I'll learn better.
