Jim McNay's Message: Gang – Along with many others I had some pictures recently published in the recently published book, “Olé: Capturing the Passion of Bullfighters and Aficionados in the 21st Century.” Some of them are added to this Sports Shooter page.

The book has about 50 contributors and is roughly 400 pages. It is writing, photography and artwork by bullfight aficionados from around the world. Some speak of how they trained and learned to enter the ring. Others remember great matadors they have seen. Still others offer a variety of memories and experience from a long-time passion.

Readers here might appreciate my short article (one of two) about meeting photographer David Douglas Duncan and talking about a particularly interesting memory from his time around the plaza de toros.

Here is the link to the website about the book:
http://bullfightbook.com

The book’s cover listing a bit pricey, but Amazon has it for sale at its usual seriously special discounted rate. See it at this link:

Amazon’s “Look Inside” feature makes some of the pictures visible from some of the contributors.

Enjoy!
