This Sunday OU hosted its last home game of the season at the Convo against the number one team in the MAC, Akron. Earlier in the year Akron had bested the Bobcats in a nail bitter of the game, but the Zips would not be so lucky this time around as OU came out of the gate hot and drubbed Akron with a sound 85-61 victory in front of a national tv audience on ESPNU to improve to 23-6 overall after only loosing one game in the Convo this year.
