I've been both a reporter and shooter since 1965 (except for a brief sabbatical to the dark side of politics), covering mostly hard news in Virginia, Illinois and Washington, DC. In 2004, we moved to a quieter life in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Started shooting high school sports for the local weekly in 2004 and now free-lance as a shooter for events in Southwestern Virginia for weeklies, dailies and web publications.
