The 2009 Pennsylvania State Judo Championships where held on March 14th 2009 in Bryn Mawr, PA. In attendance where near 200+ judo players of all ages. Also making an appearances was Dr. Andre Watson a member of the US Paralympic Blind Judo Team (90kg).
Blind judo players wear a red patch on both shoulders of the judo uniform to identify them as blind contestants. The only concession made in the sport of judo for blind players is that they start with a neutral grip, where as sighted players must fight for theirs. Andre will also be fighting in the 2009 Liberty Bell Judo Classic and 2009 USA Judo Senior National Judo Championships...

I am a freelance photographer located in the small town of Pottstown, PA. Over the years, I have covered many community, school events and sports. I am a yearbook contributing photographer to the Pottstown School District and Principal Volunteer Photographer for Pottstown Little League Baseball and Softball (D27).
I have over 9 years of photography experience, film, darkroom, and digital. I am no stranger to hard work, I have a 1st Degree Black Belt in Kodokan Judo, and I am the head youth instructor (and photographer) for the Pottstown Judo Club…
My main interest is youth sports action photography, but I am also available for baby, children and family portraits... No weddings, please!
