Ronnie Miller's Message: There have been a few things I have been pretty proud of during my life: learning to walk, learning to use sarcasm, learning to shoot photographs. The end of my 366 project also ranks high among these feats. It was a personal challenge and I conquered it. I made 366 photos and posted a photo a day for one whole year... plus one day.

As I was wrapping 366 up, I began to jot down some thoughts and reflections from this year. Here are a few of my revelations:

Life changes. Every day.
Yesterday is different from today. Two days from now could be mind-blowing.

No matter how awesome my shot was today, tomorrow I could suck.
You can always improve.

Challenge yourself.
Someone could one-up you, even if they don’t mean to.

Photography is a time-intensive and perfected profession.
Many think it is a hobby turned profitable.

In the middle of a project you think, “what is the point?”
At the end of the project you think, “Why didn’t I try harder?”

So there it is. One year out of my life. Done, shot and in the books. My last photo was grainy and not my favorite of the entire project. It was the end of a year, the last photo of 366, but it ultimately was just another day. I still slept that night, I woke up in the morning. I will still continue to work and I will still continue to shoot. This project is not the end. It is a project. A visual story of my continuing growth as a photographer. I am thankful for this project, every image and every lesson I learned along the way.

If you would like to see the full project, head to my website (you can then access it via the 366 tab at the top of the page). Plus there are some other photo goodies for your enjoyment.

Thanks for taking a look!

I currently live in Fargo, ND, and am available for freelance. Prior to my move to the tundra, I was a photojournalist in Iowa and covered a large variety of subjects. Please feel free to contact me for additional information.
