I am a photojournalist with over a decade of experience both working for daily and tri-weekly newspapers as a photographer and photo editor. In 1999 I won the North Carolina Press Association Award for Spot News. I have been working for the last five years as a freelance photojournalist. I have freelanced for various state and regional magazines including, The Associated Press, Southern Living, Our State, NC Farm Bureau, Carolina Country Appalachian Voice and Western NC Woman magazines.
