The Evergreen Curling Club hosted a wheelchair curling event Sept. 27 in Portland. With the help of the Disabled American Veterans, the club brought Canadian gold medalist Vince Miele and U.S. Paralympian Patrick McDonald to the Rose City to teach the sport to new curlers.
