| Image © 2009, The Grand Rapids Press || The former provost at Cornerstone University, Bayard Baylis, was excited to be moving to another position at a different college last Spring. Then, he and his wife Elaine's lives took a turn. Bayard incurred a burst blood vessel in a brain tumor called meningioma. He developed Aphasia, which impairs the expression and understanding of language as well as reading and writing. However, the couple said this experience has made them realize how important a trait is their strong sense of humor. |
