Notre Dame Football Legends coached by Lou Holtz and alumni football players played the Japan National Team at Tokyo Dome on July 25, 2009. The team arrived on Monday, July 20 and I had the opportunity to spend time with the team during the week.
This year is the 75th anniversary of American Football in Japan and what better way to help celebrate it with a game with the Notre Dame Football Legends.
Before the trip to Japan, Head Coach Lou Holtz was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame just a week ago. When asked why coach the team again halfway around the world..."...When Notre Dame asks, You don't say No..."
