It has been a while since I have updated so here are some images from the past few months of a sport that is very close to my heart, winter guard and indoor percussion (also known as "Sport of the Arts") I was the Louisiana Colorguard and Percussion Circuit (LCGPC) official photographer this year in addition to working as a show designer/choreographer/instructor for one of the guards competing in the circuit (who I am proud to say took home the bronze medal in their class). It is so hard to choose my favorite images from the season out of the 80,000 plus frames I shot throughout the season but here are some of my favorite action, faces and reactions from this year, enjoy!
I have recently left a job as a staff photographer for The Independent in Grand Island, Nebraska to move back to my home state of Louisiana to start a photo studio and freelance. Currently, I am remodeling/renovating a space that will become my studio in Mandeville but in the mean time I am available for freelance assignments, on location portraits or event photography (including weddings) in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and the surrounding Gulf Coast.
