Galveston Ball High School returned to playing football after nearly a month long delay due to the aftermath of Hurricane Ike. Galveston Ball played Clear Creek High at District Stadium in League City, Texas on Saturday October 5th. The game was originally scheduled to be played in Galveston but could not be played there due to storm damage. There was not a story book ending to their return as Galveston Ball was defeated by Clear Creek High by the score of 17-7.
