I studied photojournalism at Syracuse University and worked as a staff photographer at the Auburn Citizen in Auburn, NY and the P.G. Gazette weeklies in suburban Washington, D.C. After that, I worked as an photo editor for AOL News from 2004-2011. I have lived in San Francisco since 2009.
