Ha...it's been awhile since I've updated. I'll try to get around to it soon. Been busy. LOL
8-28-11 The Texas League announced Friday, the Springfield Cardinals first baseman Matt Adams was named Player of the Year for 2011.
Adams hit a three-run home run (his 31st home run of the year) on the road against the Arkansas Travelers Saturday night. He is currently tied with Tim Wheeler of the Tulsa Drillers with 31 home runs. Adams leads the Texas league with 98 RBIs and surpassed the Springfield Cardinals franchise record of 97 RBIs set by Travis Hanson in 2005.
