Alan Luby's Message: How do you capture timeless memories in a single moment?
You choose the experience behind Alan Luby Photography.
Moments are sometimes exciting and other times precious, but they are
also fleeting. If you want to capture those important moments at their
peak, you need a photographer with the long and varied experience of
Alan Luby.

Luby has been capturing images in Palm Beach County for more than 20
years. He has covered the industry from Polaroid cameras to digital
imaging. Luby is a photojournalist, portrait artist, sports photographer,
event promoter and portfolio builder.

Your moment is in constant motion. Alan Luby gives you the right shot at
the right angle at the right moment in the right lighting to freeze the
right image to last you a lifetime. He is the right choice for
your photo imaging needs.

Alan got his start in photography in 1982 when he took a class at Palm
Beach Community College. That put him on a path in 1983 to where he
would find the wisdom he needed for success in the business -- The Land
of Oz, a nightclub where he used a Polaroid camera to capture
party-goers in their happiest times.

In 1984 Alan started freelancing for Palm Beach County’s weekly newspapers
including Town-Crier, Weekday, Florida Photo News and Jupiter News
Advertiser. That led to a two—year staff photography position with
Sun-Newspaper Group from 1984 to 1985. He left there to serve as staff
photographer for one year at APPLAUSE ENTERTAINMENT Magazine in 1986.

Mr. Luby freelanced for many years, shooting for the area’s major daily newspapers,
including The Miami Herald, The Boca News and The Palm Beach Post.
He was the team photographer for the Florida Bobcats Arena Football League team
and the Florida Beachdogs Continental Basketball Association team. His
list of clients includes the United Way, Motorola, Big Brothers/Big
Sisters, Lynn University, City of Riviera Beach and others. Luby also
served as a child photographer for one year at Sears Photo Studio and
location photographer for department stores and malls for two years.

The sum total of Alan Luby’s experience results in great photos of your event,
your moment, your image. Alan knows what makes a good photograph. He has
an eye that can discern the hard edge of news, the softness of child
photography, the excitement of sports, the glamour of a portfolio shot
and the joy or seriousness of an event.

When you choose to have your image frozen for prosperity, choose the
experience of Alan Luby.
