| Image © 2010, Josh Bachman || Nov 25, 2010 - Quetzaltenango, Guatemala - November 25th was declared the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women by the United Nations in 1993. To help bring awareness and a stop to violence against women, a march was held in Quetzaltenango. Womens groups from around the city and surrounding areas joined together to march between the Central Park to the Benito Juarez Park. Guatemala has had over 4,654 femicides since 2001.
