Warshuis left California with $40 in his pocket on March 28, 2011. He sleeps where he can and he relies on the generosity of others. His goal is to raise awareness for GBS/CIDP a rare disorder of the body's immune system that attacks the peripheral nerves. This disease attacks only one or two in 100,000. It's a great way for me to challenge myself to meet people, earn their trust and hopefully make a photo. Today I met Johnny Warshuis "The Last Saddle Tramp" who is traveling from Redding, CA, to Times Square, NYC, on his horse Sandy. He has been on the road since March 28, 2011. He inspired me greatly and reminded me if I want to grow as a photographer I need to get off my ass and go find a picture. My website has had an overhaul.
