The 55th annual Opening Night of the Cowtown Rodeo was Saturday in Salem County, NJ. Rodeo performances are held every Saturday night from Memorial Day to the last Saturday in September. The rodeo features all seven rodeo events sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and is the oldest weekly running rodeo in the country. Up to 4,000 rodeo fans come out weekly for bareback bronc riding, calf roping, saddle bronc riding , steer wrestling, bull riding, team roping and girls barrel racing.
