We had a tornado March 3, one of the lesser tornadoes on that day that claimed more than 30 lives across the south and mid-west. Fortunately, no one in our area died and the injuries were minor. The tornado that touched down in Athens, Alabama began life as an EF1 and grew to an EF3 before it's life span ended.
