Aaron Suozzi's Message: 20 years ago, I was a young photojournalism student at San Jose State University. My entire life was ahead of me, the newspaper business was pretty solid and I was just hungry for knowledge and the opportunity to be an outstanding shooter. There were 3 people who heavily influenced me during my time in Silicon Valley and they were:

Jim McNay, my college advisor who taught me the business and ethics of photography. Get there early, stay late, think outside of the box. An amazing man, with amazing advice and amazing one liners.

Brad Mangin, well if you don't know Brad, then you should just lose you membership to SS right now. A kick ass sports photographer who took the time week after week to look at my images and give me feedback.

Michael Rondou, a rockstar at the San Jose Mercury News. Michael taught me how to be patient, wait for the moment, understand the game. Rondou was the zen master of golf and photojournalism.

These 3 mentors, taught me to put the camera to my face, shut my mouth and just make good pictures. Nobody wants to hear about what a great photographer you are, show us and let your work speak for you.

So, I thought I would put together an update of some unique images that I have shot with my regular cameras and then run thought Instagram (you are not the only one who can use this app Mr. Mangin). This is just a little tribute to the people who have helped me along the way and answered the phone or an email when I was looking for some guidance.

Thanks for looking.
