Darius Weems became a demi-celebrity in Athens, Georgia when the documentary about his life, Darius Goes West, premiered at the Santa Barbara Film Festival nearly five years ago.
The film features several of his original raps, as this is a passion of his.
Now, Darius is trying to make it in the music industry. He recently signed a recording contract, and he has been busy diligently working in the studio in preparation for his EP debut on December 13th.
The EP will feature three original raps. Darius hopes to tour in May and June of 2012.
