I always felt that a good sports photos have the Player, Competitor, and the Ball (or puck) in the picture ... and their grueling expressions while competing.
My photo assignments include a variety of youth and college sports. I frequently shoot high school varsity sports for Engle Publications (Mt. Joy PA) and have done contract assignments with Elizabethtown College, Franklin & Marshall College, and University of Richmond Ice Hockey. Other assignments include dog agility and theater.
I'm a high school teacher during the day and sports photographer in the afternoons and weekends. Life is good!
