Sports reporter Mark Morical and I went to Pine Mountain near Millican, Ore. on the last day of June to check-out The Desert Air Riders on a perfect evening glass-off--the wind conditions referring to ideal paragliding and hang gliding. We joined in with tandem rides. Pilot Tim Reynolds and I soared a mere 2000ft above our original take-off point for a nice hour of flying.
