I know I'm a bit tardy with my update. Not only has Christmas come and gone but it's been more than two years since my last post...
Still, it's only January. And because I was sick with horse flu or cheetah flu or panda flu this holiday season, I'm calling for a redo.
Anyway, about a month ago before "real" Christmas, I set up my traveling photo studio inside a club downtown during the annual Reno Santa Pub Crawl.
If you don't know, a pub crawl is a loosely organized event where in revelers stumble from gin joint to participating gin joint getting blotto—usually for charity. That's basically what the Santa Crawl is, except with a few thousand Kris Kringles (and snowmen, and reindeer and a couple hundred naughty elves).
I've been wanting to set up a portrait studio since my first crawl in 2005*.
And although I didn't get to don my white gloves, red dress and accompanying Mrs. Claus accouterments this year, I did see my share of crazy holiday costumes.
Special thanks to Amendment 21 (http://www.theamendment21.com/). Not just for repealing prohibition but also for letting me set up inside the North Pole.
