There was only one kid who showed up for the Major League Baseball draft last week - and he happened to be local. Mike Trout, a standout center fielder for Millville High School, was a virtual lock as a first-round pick and was invited up for the live broadcast at the MLB Network. I spent the day in Secaucus, and this is some of what I came away with that night.
Any feedback, good, bad, or ugly, is always appreciated.
