Spent some time at the Little League World Series this week covering the team from Clinton County, Pennsylvania. They hail from a large rural area in the northern part of my newspaper's coverage area and it was such a great sight to watch them play in front of a hometown crowd averaging about 32,000 fans each game. They lost to eventual world champions California one game before the US championship. Here are some images from the games I attended.
