I went three for three on covering state champs on Friday at the OHSAA boys soccer finals at Crew Stadium. In each of the three divisions, the team I covered from Columbus won its match in fairly dramatic fashion. All three games were decided by one goal, one was an overtime win, and another was 0-0 after two overtimes and went into shootouts. I'm still a little sore after coving that much soccer in one day, but it was a good time. Covering champs beats covering runners up anyday!
