It's not often that I can go to a sporting event and not have to work it from a pro point of view, but that's what happened May 22 as my wife and I took our two daughters to a night at Louisville Slugger Field as the hometown Bats battled the Syracuse Sky Chiefs.
We were needing to get some art for an upcoming special section, so I packed the camera, an all-purpose lens and a few extra bucks for a large order of nachos. I wasn't supposed to get "oooooh" and "ahhhhh" photos, but what the average Joe would see at the ball park on any given summer night. Kinda down and dirty-ish.
All photos were taken from Sec. 123, Row C, Seat 15 at beautiful LSF.
