After 17 years, I find myself in the odd position of referring to myself as a "former" (or possibly recovering) newspaper photographer. I've taken a job in the Office of University Relations at Elon University in central North Carolina. I'll still be shooting stills, and producing multimedia, but now I'll be able to concentrate more on the creative process and less on the logistics of how to get the final results into print or online.
