My photographic journey started in 1993 at the Nevada Appeal in Carson City, Nevada. Under the guidance of then chief photographer Eugene Jack, I learned the ropes of daily newspaper photojournalism. With some TV news work in between, I got a degree in journalism from the University of Oregon. I'm now in Seattle, holding a non-photo day job.
