I currently work fulltime as a freelance photographer based in Victoria, British Columbia (B.C.), on beautiful Vancouver Island, on the West Coast of Canada.
I am now accepting assignments worldwide.
My magazine clients include National Geographic Adventure, Holland Herald, Canadian Geographic, Time, Scientific American, Canadian Living, Cottage, Acoustic Guitar, CLEO, Canadian Biker, Reader's Digest, Up Here, Sea Kayaker, Surfer, Macleans, Penguin Eggs, Cross Country, and Photo Life, to name a few.
My photos have also been published in major newspapers across North America including the New York Times, Washington Post, L.A. Times, Globe and Mail, National Post, Toronto Star, Chicago Tribune, San Francisco Chronicle, Montreal Gazette, Edmonton Sun, Edmonton Journal, Calgary Sun, Calgary Herald, Vancouver Province, Vancouver Sun, and the Seattle Times.
I have a professional diploma in Photojournalism and Journalism from the Western Academy of Photography in Victoria where I was awarded "Best Photojournalist". I also have a BA in Sociology with a Concentration in Criminology from the University of Calgary.
Besides photography, I love paragliding, scuba diving, surfing, snowboarding, hiking, camping, climbing, cycling, and travelling. I have been fortunate to explore Nepal, Egypt, Jordan, Indonesia, Thailand, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, Mexico, Dominican Republic, India, Scotland, France, Spain, the Arctic, Cook Islands, Peru, Chile, Laos, Vietnam, and Cambodia.
