For the second year, I had the chance to dress up some local folks as rock stars, supermodels and legends of the silver screen for our annual calendar. For 2012, we had everyone from a librarian dressed as Fabio to two flower shop owners in their finest fake fur as Tarzan and Jane. I was borrowing pianos, six-shooters and horses as we set up these 12 photo shoots.
The "Superstars of the Tri-Cities" calendar was printed on glossy paper and included in a late-December edition of The Progress-Index as a gift to our readers. (The two missing from this gallery are Ulysses Kirksey, who dressed as the Four Tops, and Tonya Hale, who dressed as Grace Kelly.)
-------------------
Since December 2008 I've served as Multimedia Editor of The Progress-Index, a p.m. daily in Petersburg, Virginia, and the weekly Colonial Voice. I'm a 2007 graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University and a Navy/DoDDS brat.
Pat Kane Photography is available for news, sports and commercial assignments as my schedule allows.
