It was a very weird, sad and long week for me. I was laid off from the Duluth News Tribune on Friday, March 6th and was back freelancing for them and my former newspaper's parent company at the Minnesota Boys Hockey State Tournament in St. Paul. It doesn't seem like I've been let go because I've been so busy and the long days and fun of this tournament helped to distract me from all that goes with losing a job.
On a better note, I just got a new website so check that out at www.derekmontgomery.com. On top of that, I've entered the blogosphere and you can see what I'm up to on a daily or weekly basis at www.drockphoto.com.
