I spent last week in Los Angeles and made the drive to El Mirage, a dry lakebed on the edge of the Mojave Desert to photograph some timed speed racing in an event held by the Southern California Timing Association. These images are all shot in digital infrared with a converted Nikon body.
It's not about what you look at. It's about what you see.
