Sports Illustrated put out a special edition for race day at the Indy 500 today. I don't normally do product, let alone big product. So after research, I learned that the only way to really do it right would be to set up a 10x30' softbox at the Brickyard museum.
The Museum let me and three assistants set it up... taking 7 hours the night before and then shooting the following day. The photos are just a few of my favorites.. if you want, I did a time-lapse for the shoot.
