Dec. 11,2010: There are portfolios now from 2003 to 2009 plus a favorites portfolio. I will get the 2010 portfolio posted soon as I've collected all the photos.
The 2009 portfolio did well in judging. The softball play at home plate took first place for sports in the Western Washington SPJ contest.
I thank everyone stopping by, with more than 15,000 page views received since I joined in August of 2003 (and the two people who ask for updates and five who have me listed as a favorite)
I primarily cover sports and crime at The Omak-Okanogan County Chronicle (page layout and Internet posting, too), the largest circulated weekly newspaper in Eastern Washington State. We are a full-color newspaper that's pressed at the Wenatchee World's top-notch press about 100 miles south.
Omak is in northcentral Washington, less than an hour south of the Canadian border.
I've been an National Press Photographer Association member since 1979 (the gray is starting to show in the beard).
