I'm a San Francisco-based freelance photographer that specializes in photojournalism and endurance sports such as triathlon, mountain biking and distance running. This gallery shows the presidential inauguration assignment that I covered for the San Francisco Chronicle's website, SFGate.com. A chartered bus carrying roughly fifty people, mostly African Americans, traveled across the country and back from Oakland, CA to Washington, D.C. to witness Obama's historic inauguration.
