The Madison Mountaineers played the Altavista Colonels in the Group A, Division 1 State Championship on Saturday, March 13, 2010. Madison defeated Altavista 41-38 to take home the State Championship trophy. This is Madison's second boy's state championship win, they also won the State Championship 33 years ago in 1977.
