New Orleans-based Susan Poag is a freelance photographer and owner of Susan Poag Photography, specializing in editorial, convention and family/wedding photography and also co-owner of Digital Roux Photography, that concentrates in sports and commercial photography. She is a former newspaper photographer with experience shooting all Varsity/Prep Sports, NCAA, NBA, NFL sports including two Super Bowls, numerous Sugar Bowls, the Olympic Track & Field Trials, the BCS National Championship, and horse racing.
She was part of The Times-Picayune staff awarded the Pulitzer Prize in 2006 for Hurricane Katrina coverage.
