Newspaper reporter Edward Barrera and Ontario police department Cpl. Colleen Marquez save Edrick Washington from his burning pickup truck Friday afternoon October 7, 2005 in Ontario seconds before the vehicle burst into flames. Washington suffered two broken legs and other unknown injuries after crashing at high speed into a utility pole in front of the newspapers office.
